Welcome to our website. Brazil is a far away country that for many Europeans and Americans is still shrouded in mystery. I felt the same when I came here five years ago. What I found, however, was something much different than expected. A people and culture that resonate with the world of food, music and dance. In 2004 theTerravista Resort Complex came to life and from inside emerged a new world class golf course. In honor of this magnificent course we have built a special villa. One that blends into the natural environment yet offers all the comforts that many of our guests have come to enjoy. If you are looking for an exotic location and beautiful beaches you will want to come here. If you are an avid golfer you may have found the ultimate golfing destination. If you and your friends want all the comforts of a luxurious Bahian style villa coupled with dramatic views from every room then look no further.
The newest addition to our villa retreat family, Villa Golf is a dramatic four bedroom villa situated on a hillside overlooking the famous signature 17th green and fairway at the Terravista Golf Resort. The home, just 2 kilometers down the beach from Villas de Trancoso, was designed by renowned architects David Bastos and Adriano Mascarenhas. The 884 square meter home includes two large decks, an infinity swimming pool, social area with entertainment center and pool and ping pong tables, designer kitchen, three car garage, pond with waterfall and four bedroom suites that include an upstairs master suite with study, and dramatic master bath.
The home has three bar areas including a sunken pool bar and a deck bar and barbeque overlooking the 18th tee and fairway. Separate stocked wine and beer coolers ensure your beverages will be ready when you are. The upstairs master suite and office includes a wireless hub, computer, printer and fax with high speed connections. The upstairs and downstairs music systems offer a computer selection of over 4000 songs. The villa includes a maid and gardener as well as our gourmet breakfast complete with hot steaming Brazilian coffee.
During 2006 and 2007 this villa has received several special recognitions. We were honored to have former Vice President and Nobel Peace Prize winner Al Gore and his wife Tipper joining us for their vacation. In 2006 the villa received a first place award for the best residential lighting design in Brazil. We will also appear in two travel TV programs including the Discovery Channel which is covering the top golf courses of Latin America. Finally we have been featured in several Portuguese and Brazilian magazines including BRAZIL and CASA.
The Terravista course is considered the #1 course in Latin America. It is set on the cliffs with some of the most spectacular beach and ocean views in the world. Guests can access the beach via a staircase that descends to the sea. There you will find miles of beautiful golden sand beaches. The village of Trancoso is a 10 minute drive from the complex where you will find shopping and an excellent selection of restaurants. The complex also offers a Heliport and 1500 meter jet runway for private jets.
